First SB5’s, now Heineken Cup!

Craig Ronaldson Lansdowne 2012-13 In the summer of 2012, Craig Ronaldson was running out at the Lignano Beach Arena representing Ireland’s, Lansdowne FC.

In the summer of 2013, with Lansdowne having claimed the 2012/13 Irish National Championship Title, and with Craig himself having been named AIL Player of the Year as the Leagues Top Scorer, he turned Pro, joining Ireland’s Pro-12 side, Connacht.

Since the start of the 2013/14 season, Craig now finds himself playing Pro12 and Heineken Cup Rugby under new head-coach and ex-Samoan International Captain, Pat Lam.

Craig Ronaldson ConnachtIndeed his progress is going so well that in the last week, he has signed a 2 year extension of his contract. Currently he’s swapping the club’s outhalf position with former Scotland international outhalf, Dan Parks. Not bad eh! While we’re not sure if Dan Parks could play SUPER BEACH 5’s RUGBY, we definitely know that Craig can !

Congratulations Craig !
